| It is clear from this table that
the only two participants who share a common ancestor are #75036 and
#83525 who match exactly on all 25 markers. According to their
pedigrees, they share a common grandfather. Participants #5674 and
#14934 do not share a common ancestor with anyone in the
group. |

| The chart belows shows that the 4
participants have 3 distinct lines back to Colbert Blair (son of
John Blair and Mary Colbert) and Sarah Morgan. They also have 3
distinct 25-marker signatures that clearly show that these three
lines are not related. |

| Conclusions |
| Based on the DNA test results of
these four participants the one absolute conclusion we can draw is
that only one the above lines may actually descend
from Colbert Blair and Sarah Morgan. It is impossible based on the
current results to know line this may be. It
is also possible that one or more of the participants is mistaken
about his pedigree or that somewhere along the line a nonpaternal
event took place.
For the time being the James Blair and Mary
Colbert line will remain a mystery. Further testing is required if
this line is going to sorted out. |
